Hey ya'll! My name is Jackie Harmon and I am the owner of Baked with Love at Mrs. Jackie's Bakery! It is a home based bakery that provides scratch made sourdough, quick breads and sweet treats! I am a special educator of 21 years and also self taught sourdough obsessed baker! I started this business out of my home to help pay the bills of a single mom and it has grown into something special! My two loves at baking and teaching! Currently, I bake custom orders and do various pop up booth sales throughout our community!

Baked with Love began back in 2015, when my youngest son Braden was diagnosed with autism. I began baking pumpkin bread as therapy trying to cope with the isolation of being an autism Mom. My son had a difficulty going out in public due to his sensory & communication difficulties, so we are at home...alot. I began to bake and sell homemade bread to friends and family as a hobby. During 2020, I began providing baking lessons to my baking student, Elayna is my home. Elayna is an adult with autism who loves to bake! She would come over and see my bakery sign and the wall and say "Mrs. Jackie's bakery" over and over. She and I learned to make sourdough together and Baked with Love at Mrs. Jackie's bakery was born!
why we do what we do
The dream of Baked with love is to one day open a storefront bakery in beautiful Columbia, TN. It is currently a home based bakery. Bake with Love will be a place that employs adults with disabilities as well as job coaches for those individuals. Our Dream is that it will be a place that accepts, supports and inspires special needs families in our area. A place where everyone belongs and people of varying abilities are accepted and loved. Our vision also includes an adaptable space where baking classes, support groups and community events can take place as well as a full service bakery.
